Damages, Loss, and Insurance

General: Keep dry; remove before showering, swimming, or workouts. Last on, first off—wear after skincare or perfume, remove before bed. Store pieces separately in soft pouches to avoid scratches and tangles. Clean gently with a soft cloth; avoid chemicals and abrasives.

Sterling Silver (925): Tarnish from air and humidity is normal; wipe after wear with a silver cloth. For a deeper clean, use mild soap and lukewarm water with a soft brush, then rinse and dry. Use silver dips only for plain silver (not pearls, enamel, or porous stones).

Gold Vermeil: Avoid friction, chemicals, and long water exposure. Clean with mild soapy water, pat dry, then finish with a soft cloth. Store separately; re-plating service is available if needed.

Solid Gold: Soak in mild soapy water, brush softly, rinse, and dry. Avoid chlorine and strong household cleaners.

Pearls & Mother-of-Pearl: Wipe after wear with a soft cloth. Keep away from acids, perfume, hairspray, heat, and prolonged soaking. Store flat in a soft pouch.

Gemstones: Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush; rinse and dry. Avoid ultrasonic or steam for fragile or treated stones.

Enamel: Avoid impacts, chemicals, and sudden temperature changes. Wipe with a damp soft cloth and dry fully.

Why Silver Turns Black: Oxidation with oxygen and sulfur in the air; body chemistry can accelerate it.

Restore Tarnished Silver: Polish with a silver cloth. Clean with mild soap, rinse, and dry. Quick silver dip only for plain silver; rinse and dry immediately.

Storage: Use the provided soft pouch; add anti-tarnish tabs in humid climates. Fasten chains before storing.
