BIOGRAPHY:
St. Alfred, also known as Alfred the Great, was King of Wessex and one of England's most significant rulers. Born in 849, he became king in 871 and led his people against the Danish Vikings, who had conquered large parts of England. Through his military strategies and reforms, he preserved Anglo-Saxon culture and contributed to England's unification. Besides his military achievements, St. Alfred focused on education, law, and strengthening the Church. He established schools, translated Latin texts into Anglo-Saxon, and reinforced the Christian faith in his kingdom. He died in 899 and is venerated as a just ruler and defender of Christianity.

St. Alfred is the patron saint of scholars, teachers, strategists, and kings.

Because our statues are hand made and painted in Italy by Italian artists, we custom import your statue from Italy for you. We generally have weekly bulk shipments of statue orders being sent from Italy. Once you order a statue you can generally expect it to arrive in about 3 weeks, allowing for international and domestic shipping times.
If you need a statue sooner, you can take a look at what is currently available in our "Ready To Ship" collection of statues available here in the states, which we can ship out in 1-2 days.
For statues 12" or larger, nativity sets over $350, or crosses and crucifixes 18" or larger, drop shipping from Italy is available to get your item quicker, but starts at $35 and goes up from there. Damages, Loss, and Insurance
