When did St. Benignus of Dijon live: in the second or third century
Biography of St. Benignus:
According to the legend, Benignus was a pupil of Polykarp, the bishop of Smyrna, and was sent to Gaul to preach the Gospel. During his life, he performed many miracles and converted many people. He was denounced to the Emperor Aurelian who ordered that he be tortured. Because the dogs that were supposed to eat him did not even touch him, soldiers clubbed him to death with a bar of iron and his heart was pierced. After his death, he was buried by Leonille, a Christian lady.

We generally have weekly bulk shipments of statue orders being sent from Italy. Once you order a statue you can generally expect it to arrive in about 3 weeks, allowing for international and domestic shipping times.

For statues 12" or larger, nativity sets over $350, or crosses and crucifixes 18" or larger, drop shipping from Italy is available to get your item quicker, but starts at $35 and goes up from there.
